The visa policies of Hong Kong are formulated and operated with due regard to the gender mainstreaming concept. Persons, irrespective of their sex, who are able to meet the eligibility criteria under various admission schemes and arrangements may be admitted to work, study or take up residence in Hong Kong. They may bring in their spouses and unmarried dependent children under the age of 18 as their dependents. |
