Objective |
CEF seeks to subsidise adults with learning aspirations to pursue continuing education and training courses. |
Content |
Eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of their tuition fees, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000 (whichever is the less), on successful completion of a reimbursable course. Tuition fees for more than one reimbursable course may be reimbursed, subject to the maximum ceiling of HK$10,000 per applicant not being exceeded. |
Groups / Persons Affected |
Applicants of CEF. |
Impact |
Having considered that some applicants might need longer time to complete a course due to health reasons (including pregnancy), the then SFAA has since December 2007 extended the deadline for claiming reimbursement of course fee after successful completion of the course(s). The deadline was extended from two years to four years from the date the application was approved. |
Success Factor / Lessons Learned |
