Briefing Session for Gender Focal Points in Government Bureaux and Departments

To assist the gender focal points (GFPs) in government bureau and departments in raising awareness and understanding of gender-related issues, the Labour and Welfare Bureau organised a Briefing Session for Gender Focal Points in Government Bureaux and Departments at Central Government Offices on 28 November 2017. Some 50 GFPs and his / her representatives attended.

Ms. Akina SZE, Unit-in-charge, Family Wellness Centre, Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association, introduced some gender concepts and gender mainstreaming. Miss Leonia TAI, Deputy Secretary for Labour and Welfare, presented the gender implication in policy formulation.
